Municipality Genalguacil

Genalguacil is a small white village in Malaga province (autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain). It is lying cosily against the mountain with wonderful views.

The village was total unknown until years ago when its Mayor invited fifteen artists to stay in the village for two weeks. They still get together every two years for the last two weeks in August and everybody of them leaves one of his works on permanent exhibition in the streets (sculptures) or in the museum.

Genalguacil is very clean and the tourists are warm welcomed from the local population.
