Municipality Benalmadena

Municipality Benalmadena is located on the Costa del Sol in autonomous community of Andalusia - Southern Spain. It is part of Malaga province and is situated about 22 km southeast of the provincial capital Malaga.

The municipality is divided in three main areas: Benalmadena Pueblo, Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmadena Costa.

Benalmadena Pueblo: It is the oldest part of Benalmadena and is a typical whitewashed Andalusian village with narrow streets and relaxing squares with formidable viewpoints of the Costa del Sol

Arroyo de la Miel: It is a district that owes its growth to the local train station and is the economic centre in the town, concentrates much of the population and municipal services

Benalmadena Costa: It is the most international part of Benalmadena that attracts the tourists with each beaches and leisure facilities. There are large hotels, casino, marina and all kinds of shops.
