Santiago de Compostela is located in in the north west of Spain in the province of A Coruña. It is the capital of autonomous community of Galicia and one of the most beautiful Spanish towns.

The old town of Santiago de Compostela is declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has many famous and interesting buildings, such as the Romanesque cathedral, the Old University, the Romanesque Collegiate Church of Santa Maria del Sar, the Gelmirez Palace and the magnificent Reyes Catolicos Hotel, currently a luxurious tourist hotel, or Parador.
