Municipality Pobra de Trives (A)

A Pobra de Trives is a small mountain town in the north of the province of Orense (autonomous community of Galicia), 69 km from the provincial capital Ourense and 77 km from the city of Ponferrada. The distance to Montaña Manzaneda ski resort is just 16km.

Region is suitable for a religious tourism. On the border between the provinces of Ourense and Lugo, the banks of the Sil River came to be called "sacred" for the abundance of monasteries and religious places in the area.
