Municipality Mostoles

Municipality of Mostoles is included in province and autonomous community of Madrid. It is situated 18 kilometers southwest from city of Madrid next to the city of Alcorcon. Other neighbour municipalities are Villaviciosa de Odón, Fuenlabrada, Arroyomolinos, Moraleja de Enmedio and Navalcarnero.

In the past Mostoles was a small village but the proximity to Madrid expanded it and nowadays it is the second largest city in population in its autonomous community after city of Madrid.

Because its location and in the presence of the good transport connections to other suburbs and to central Madrid (by the Metrosur line, a commuter train line, local and regional bus lines and several major freeways and toll highways), Mostoles was transformed to dormitory suburb of the Spanish capital.
