Seville is the capital of
province of Seville and of
autonomous community of Andalusia.
Seville is an ancient city with history as far back as the Romans and 500 years of dominance by the Moors. In the early 1500s, town began a trade monopoly with the Americas and became one of the richest cities in
Spain. The town is a great place to see Gothic architecture such as the cathedral of
Seville (third largest in the world).
Today, it's a modern thriving city with a rich history - heart of Andalusian culture and center of
bullfighting and
Flamenco music.
