Arcos de la Frontera is a located in
province of Cadiz and could be named "a gateway" to the White Towns of Andalusia (Pueblos Blancos). It is one of the most beautiful Spanish towns and is declared a historic-artistic monument.
The town is located on a large plateau from where a spectacular view is open. It has typical for the region narrow streets, twisting and turning down steep slopes.
Arcos has own spirit and is an inspiration for many Spanish artists, such as the musicians Manuel de Falla, Pio Baroja, Azorin, Damaso Alonso, and Gloria Fuertes.
