The Baleraic Islands are located in the western Mediterranean Sea and are autonomous community and province in Spain. The largest islands in arhipelago are: Majorca (Mallorca), Minorca, Ibiza, and Formentera.
- Island of Majorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands. There is situated the capital of the autonomous community of Balearic Islands - city of Palma (Palma de Mallorca)
- Island of Minorca is the second largest and its main town and port is Port Mahon (Mao).
- Island of Ibiza is the third largest of the Balearic Islands after Majorca and its main town has the same name as the island - Ibiza.
- Island of Formentera is the smallest in the group of main Baleraic Islands. It is located approximately 6 kilometres south of Ibiza island. It has only one muncipality (Formentera) and the the major villages are Sant Francesc Xavier, Sant Ferran de ses Roques, El Pilar de la Mola and La Savina
